Finnish police have arrested a second man suspected of running an internet Ponzi scheme called WinCapita, commercial broadcaster MTV3 reported on its website on Friday.
The man was arrested at Helsinki-Vantaa airport upon arrival from Thailand.
A Finnish court had remanded the man in absentia on the basis of a video showing the suspect showcasing the “investment club”.
Last week, the Swedish police arrested a Finnish citizen suspected of masterminding the scheme. The Finnish National Bureau of Investigation expects the Swedish authorities to hand him over in the near future.
There is an international warrant on a third WinCapita suspect.
