Vietnam and Finland sign Education Cooperation

During an official meeting Vietnam and Finland signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on education and training cooperation, under which Finland will assist Vietnam in doctoral training in IT, health care, environment, forestry and fishery.
The MoU was signed during the Deputy Prime minister of Vietnam Nguyen Thien Nhan’s official vistit to Finland the fourth of February. On this occasion, a number of universities of the two countries also signed agreements on cooperation in doctoral and master’s degree training.
During his stay in Finland, Deputy PM Nhan visited a school and the University of Helsinki. At the Itakeskus Comprehensive School in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland, Nhan attended English, German, physics and information technology classes.He exchanged experiences with the school’s leaders on the management of the school, employment of teachers, student management and the relations between the school and students’ parents.
