Salmon From Norway Sought After on Singaporean Menus

Norwegian salmon is the most exquisite and delicate fish in the world – At least if you ask the people of Singapore.

In the newest addition of the official Japanese food guide ”The Appetite Guide to Japanese Restaurants in Singapore” – which covers more than 160 restaurants in the small southeast Asian country – there is added a label, that certificates the restaurants with the Norwegian speciality on their menu. So far about 100 of the restaurants are awarded the coveted mark.

“Singapore is a tough marked for restaurants, especially the Japanese, and if you want to success you have to have a good quality of salmon. We have tried various types of salmon, but according to our guest the Norwegian salmon has the best marblings which make the best meat” says Mr. Koezuka, the master chef on Kuriya Raffles City.
