The Danish part of Lao Brewery Company, Carlsberg Brewery were surprised when they got the news about Lao Brewery Company is going to public listed this year reports the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.
The international press contact of Carlsberg brewery, Jens Peter Skaarup says to Jyllands-Posten that there are no present plans for the Lao Brewey to be public listed, and the only reason that Lao Brewery has been mentioned at the list of future public listed companies are that Lao Brewery is the biggest company in Laos.
“Appartenly they have forgot the detail that the brewery is a joint venture between Carlsberg and the government. So it cannot be public listed without asking us,” says Jens Peter Skaarup to Jyllands-Posten.
