As previously announced it is the intention that VFS Global, the external service provider contracted by the Swedish Embassy to receive applications for visas, will open its application centre on 17 May 2010.
Because of the location of the application centre in Amarin Tower, in the close vicinity of the ongoing demonstrations in Bangkok, the Embassy follows the security situation closely in order to make a decision next week whether to open the application centre on 17 May or not.
Should there still be ongoing demonstrations, applications will temporarily be received without booked slots at the Embassy.
The Embassy asks for your understanding for the current situation, which is beyond the control of the Embassy.
