A newly build public school in the Chinese city of Qingdao has been giving the name Beijan Aalborg Primary School.
The unusual name is caused to a yearlong cooperation between Danish company Aalborg Industries and local authorities in Qingdao.
Among other things Aalborg Industries have a huge kettle factory with more than 900 employees placed in the city.
As a sign of Qingdao’s appreciation the Chinese authorities chose to let CEO, Jan Vestergaard, and sales manager, Sameer Kalra, inaugurate the new school.
