Hifab Development in Sweden has been awarded an assignment from a number of Swedish and international companies to perform around 30 supplier compliance audits in Vietnam and China.
The audits’ purpose is to make sure that suppliers live up to legal requirements and the customers’ own codes of conduct.
That may for example regard child labour, salaries and workers environment.
Hifab will conduct the audits during spring and summer 2004.
