Finland, China signs water cooperation pact

Finland’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Jari Koskinen and his Chinese counterpart, Minister Chen of China, signed a co-operation agreement on water. The pact will open up opportunities and demand for Finnish experiences and know-how.

Finland has a lot to offer China. Not many can recall the state of our lakes and rivers 50 years ago – the fact that we’ve rehabilitated them with our homegrown expertise. China now faces polluted rivers and many water related challenges.
