The Danish sub-supplier to the wind industry, Maskinfabrikken Silkeborg Spåntagning A/S, signed a MoU with the district, as the company expects to opens its first Chinese factory in Tongliang in the first half of 2011.
The company is expecting to supply both Chinese and international customers from its factory in China.
Chongqing, which is one out of only four municipalities in China, has in recent years been among China’s fastest growing areas and in 2010 the GDP-growth is expected to be 17 pct.
