The Bankokian artist Elizabeth Rømhild once again participated in the Breast Friends campaign.
For the second year in a row, Bruun Rasmussen was holding an online auction to raise money for the Breast Friends breast cancer campaign and one of the items available was the sculpture “Fever” by Elizabeth Rømhild.
Last night the auction ended and the sculpture fetched a nice 18.500 Danish crowns.
All money raised will go in full to research projects chosen by a panel of breast cancer specialists from the Danish Breast Cancer Cooperative Group.
Breast cancer affects over 4,000 Danish women every year, making it the most common form of cancer among women in Denmark.
