The Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Thailand organized the networking night on 16 June 2011 at the Westin Grand Sukhumvit. About 150 guests braved the pouring rain and showed up.
At 19.00 pm, the Executive Director of Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Peter Bjork held the opening speech thanking all the guest for coming and Colliers International for sponsoring the networking event.
Mr. Antony Picon, the Associate Director for Research of Colliers International then gave an overview of the Condominium Market in Bangkok and the Hua Hin, Cha-am and Pranburi Residential Market.
The evening was also the final networking event for Executive Director of Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Katrine Praest. On behalf of the DTCC board, Mr. Jakob Bojsen wished her good luck in her new job.
“Katrine started her career in the Danish-Thai Chambers as an intern and then later she came back to the Executive Director,” he told the members.
“We would like to thank her for the hard work she did for the chambers in past two years. And now she will head off to her new career in Malaysia. We wish her the good wishes and hope to see her again.”
At 20.15 pm, Mr. Peter called for two lucky draws of free accommodation at Hua Hin Blue Lagoon. The first prize went to Mr. Dennis Pawlek and another prize was Mr. Sutti Manokitjarunman.
The rain outside stopped as this networking came to an end. However the Nordic Chamber never stops improving the activities among the Scandinavian community in Thailand. Please stay tuned for the upcoming event at www.scandasia.com.
