Nuns in Sweden Forced back to Vietnam

Five Buddhist nuns living in Sweden are now sent back to Vietnam tells the media, Värnamo news on November 6, 2011.

The nuns managing the operations of a Buddhist temple in Gnosjö, which is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Sweden, are now forced to leave Sweden.

The Vietnamese nuns have lived in the country on tourist visas. But according to a decision by the Immigration Service, they may not extend their visas.
The nuns have never applied for a residence permit because it is not their intention to stay in Sweden permanently.
