On Thursday, the next Danish general elections will be held.
“Just because some of us can’t vote in Denmark, we still get to eat election pork,” the invitation from Danish Planet Saigon says.
The word election pork, or in Denmark ‘Valgflæsk’, was invented in 1898 and is the traditional dish in Denmark during an election night. ‘Valgflæsk’ is the informal expression of the generous promises to voters during a political election.
