Two Maersk ships have been banned from Thai ports after reportedly carrying hazardous waste from Albania to Thailand, Bangkok Post writes.

One of the vessels was scheduled to arrive in Singapore today. The other one should arrive in Singapore on August 24.

Maersk has stated that none of the containers were declared to contain hazardous waste. If so, the Danish shipping company would have declined to carry them.
