Google Assistant expanding into Scandinavia and Asia

Google is adding more languages to the digital assistant, Google Assistant.

At Mobile World Congress last week the IT-giant announced that Google Assistant will soon be available in seven more languages: Hindi, Indonesian, Dutch, Thai, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish

On side with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant is slowly making its way into the homes of the families of the world.

These categories of services has been dubbed ‘actions’ by Google and ranges from ordering a taxi or Uber, ordering food, changing music and live translating a conversation.

Google Assistant already spoke nine languages including German, Japanese and Korean, but with the newest addition the digital assistant speak 16 languages.
