Swedish ball bearings company SKF Group has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Envision Energy.
The company said the agreement builds on an existing relationship under which it supplies bearings and “cross-platform solutions incorporating sealing solutions and lubricants, as well as technical cooperation”.
Envision Energy was founded in 2007 and is among the top five wind turbine manufacturers in China, providing its Smart Wind software in addition to hardware.
SKF China head of renewable energy Sunny Chan said: “The agreement acknowledges our ongoing relationship and further strengthens the close cooperation between both companies, which focus on providing environmental and sustainable energy solutions.”
