Danish Deputy Prime Minister To Head Delegation Seeking Ties With Vietnam

Under the bold headline “Building Vietnam with Danish Technologies”, the Danish Embassy in Hanoi and DI (the Confederation of Danish Industries) are offering companies from Denmark to take part in a five-day promotion tour of the Vietnamese market on April 23-28, which will take its participants to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Denmark’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Bendt Bendtsen, will head the delegation, which is expected to mainly consist of Danish suppliers of equipment and know-how within energy, building and construction materials, (sea)food processing, as well as shipbuilding industries. With the ministerial leverage of Mr. Bendt Bendtsen’s participation, the tour will most likely offer the Danish exporters an exclusive chance to present their capabilities to both new and already-existing business contacts in Vietnam – both within commercial circles and with the local authorities.

Vietnam is currently experiencing annual growth rates of 7-8 per cent, which makes the country one of the most attractive markets in Asia. Many Danish companies have already spotted the potential and seized the opportunities by upgrading their marketing efforts for Danish products and technologies.
