DiGi Opens New Head Office

The inauguration of the new DiGi head office in Subang Hi-Tech Industrial Park, named as D’ House, was on January 24 opened by Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak.
The opening night was celebrated with 100 participated key government officials and industry heads who were taken on tour of D’ House.
The guests were also entertained by Morten Lundal, DiGi Chief Executive Officer, strumming guitar along with Adibah Noor singing “Time to Change”, a song Lundal wrote and dedicated to the DiGi spirit.
Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib ushered a new office concept by signing his name on a “floating work desk” suspended from the ceiling which symbolizes the freedom of mobility that wireless technology gives.
Morten Lundal said “the floating work desk captures the essence of our open office where we have open spaces, no permanent desks and no fixed lines. We can sit anywhere within practicality,”
“D’ House represents us and all our aspirations. It showcases the DiGi spirit of living the brand values of innovation, simplicity and best values. There is full alignment between everything you see and the way we are,” added Lundal.
DiGi Chairman Arve Johansen added that D’ House was designed to create the right atmosphere and environment to inspire DiGi people to give their very best. The money invested in D’ House is money well spent as DiGi people are the main differentiator.”
D’ House has a built-up area of 30,194 sq meters to accommodate 1,000 employees. Another 700 employees are stationed in offices throughout the country.
