Algot Backlund, a 23 year old Swede, is missing in Bali. Four weeks ago he should have met some friends at the international airport Ngurah Rai Airport, but he never showed up.
The young traveller, who had been working in Norway to earn money enough for his dream trip to the other side of the planet, went from Oslo directly to Hong Kong, and further to Bali, where he arrived April 2, 2008, writes the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet.
He is not answering his cell phone, not replying even one of several messages by SMS, and he is not using his credit card. Two weeks into his disappearance he turned 23 years old.
Interpol is informed that his has gone missing.
