Rejects Warnings Against Deadly Jellyfish

Three Swedish tourists have died after being attacked by the deadly dangerous box jellyfish in Thailand and Malaysia. Still, the larger Swedish agents do not believe that the current situation demands warnings to be isssued against the Box Jellyfish.
But they accept, however, that information to the guest after arrival in Thailand or Malaysia is needed.
Matz Berggren, a marine biologist at Göteborg University, supports the idea that the agencies local representatives should keep track on the location of the Box Jellyfish and inform travelers about the situation.
Fritidsresor and Wing will not warn customers about the jellyfish. Instead they choose to inform their guest on-site in several ways, including via hotels’ information files.
