Clean Energy Investor Workshop took place in Bangkok

EEP Mekong project developers, funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, met interested investors at the Clean Energy Investor Workshop on 21 August.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland funds The Energy and Environment Partnership with the Mekong Region (EEP Mekong) and on 21 August developers from the partnership could find interested investors at the Clear Energy Investor Workshop.

The EEP Mekong programme aims to increase its impact and effectiveness by narrowing its focus on increasing and improving access of rural population to sustainable and affordable energy services and products in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

At the workshop, project details and future cooperation opportunities were discussed. The workshop was opened by H.E. Minister Mika Lintilä who is currently on an official visit in Thailand.

EEP Mekong has been running since December 2009.
