A seminar was held in Beijing recently to discuss how to use Finland’s advanced technologies to help the capital city improve its air quality.
The “Beautiful Beijing” Cleantech Cooperation Seminar focused on Beijing’s needs for clean technologies, as well as Finland’s expertise and solutions available in the four areas: energy production and use, industrial production, construction and engineering and transportation.
“China should learn how to reduce the pollution from construction and engineering projects in its urbanization process,” said Kari Tapio Hiltunen, Counselor of Technology from Finland Embassy to China. “It’s important for the country to realize its dreams of ‘Beautiful China’ and ‘Beautiful Beijing’.”
