Thai immigration police said they raided a foreign-run poker den in central Pattaya, Chonburi, on 10 January 2026. Police said 10 people were arrested, including two Finns, two Danes, three Britons, one German, one Chinese national, and one Thai organiser.

Authorities said officers acted on a tip about foreigners gathering to gamble inside a luxury house. Police said the property was fenced with locked gates and guarded, and that officers entered by climbing a fence and forcing a door.

Police said they seized cash and gambling-related items, including 17,070 baht, 2,000$, 100 British pounds, 300 Australian dollars, multiple trays of chips, and playing cards. A QR code was also listed among the seized items.

Police said the Thai organiser told investigators the venue moved regularly to avoid detection and that players were invited through social media groups. Police said he was charged with organising gambling, while the foreign nationals were charged with illegal gambling, and one British detainee also faced an overstaying charge.
