If we go 124 years back in time, 23 July 1897 marks the exact day King Chulalongkorn of Thailand visited Denmark for the first time and in an update to mark the historical milestone, the Embassy of Denmark in Bangkok writes the following:

On this day King Chulalongkorn arrived for his first-ever visit to Denmark.
King Chulalongkorn was welcomed by King Christian IX, who escorted The King and his entourage to Amalienborg Palace, where the King would stay during his four-day visit.
In the evening, King Christian IX hosted a dinner in honor of King Chulalongkorn, where he in his speech emphasized how pleased he was to receive a visit from Siam.
King Chulalongkorn’s following speech highlighted the close ties between the two nations:
