Norwegian Seamen’s Church in Pattaya will organise a screening of critical acclaimed film “Kon Tiki” on Wednesday, Feb 6, at 7 p.m.
Kon-Tiki is a Norwegian biographical drama film from 2012 that deals with Thor Heyerdahl and his “Kon-Tiki” expedition. It is directed by Joachim Roenning and Espen Sandberg. The role of Thor Heyerdahl played by Pål Sverre Valheim Hagen.
The film was generally well received by Norwegian film critics and became one of the most-watched Norwegian film of all time.
Production costs were 93 million, making it one of the most expensive Norwegian film ever. The film’s rights were sold to 33 countries. It’s both nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe (both for Best Foreign Language Film).
Admission fee is 150 baht, including coffee & cakes.
