On 30 October 2025, the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam and LTP Group – Asia inaugurated LTP’s renovated garment factory in Ho Chi Minh City, equipped with a modern rooftop solar system. The installation now supplies more than 35% of the facility’s electricity and is expected to reduce carbon emissions by roughly 482 tonnes per year.

The event highlighted ongoing cooperation under the Vietnam–Denmark Green Strategic Partnership, which links government programmes with private-sector projects to support Vietnam’s green transition. More than 150 Danish companies operate in Vietnam, bringing technologies and business models in areas such as clean energy, health, food safety and education.

Danish Ambassador Nicolai Prytz said that green energy and sustainable production are a competitive advantage for Vietnam, citing Danish companies including LEGO, Pandora and LTP. LTP Group – Asia’s general director Lars Mehli Overgaard said the investment reaffirms the company’s commitment to responsible manufacturing in Vietnam.

The factory upgrade is part of LTP Group’s broader efforts to pair production growth with energy efficiency and renewable power, in line with the Green Strategic Partnership’s focus on trade and green investment.
