Finnish companies at China-Europe Wood Industry Development Forum

Finnish wood materials and products were on display at an exhibition in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, on 31 March 2021 as part of the 2021 China-Europe Wood Industry Development Forum.

The exhibition showcases products by five Finnish companies, with the participation coordinated by Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK). The LEF network – short Latvia, Estonia and Finland – is a collaboration of businesses from the three countries, all of which place strong emphasis on developing solutions that are sustainable from ecological, economic and social perspectives.Wood products are a good example of how to implement sustainability in practice.

Consul General Pasi Hellman delivered opening remarks at the event, attended by representatives Changzhou Municipal Government, including Deputy Mayor Hang Yong, and Changzhou Tianning District, as well as guests from national industry associations.
